Does Draw & Highlight send my drawings or highlights anywhere?
No. Everything is saved to chrome.storage.local on your own device. There's no account, no server, and no analytics — your annotations are never transmitted anywhere.
Can I highlight text without turning on a drawing mode?
Yes. Selecting any text on a page opens a small color-swatch menu directly — no toggle required. Click an existing highlight again to remove it.
Do my drawings and highlights stay on the page after I reload it?
Yes. Annotations for a page are saved and reapplied automatically the next time you visit that page, and every annotated page is listed in a searchable local history.
Is Draw & Highlight free?
Yes, it's free with no account required.
